Safety First

Maurer Electric is committed to creating a safety-first culture to ensure every phase of the projects we take on run as smoothly and as safely as possible.

We understand that electricity is a serious workplace hazard. We conform to OSHA’s electrical standards in order to protect our employees, the sites we work on, and those who are present on any given project. We follow OSHA’s recommendations for regulations, hazard recognition, and possible solutions and tap into their general resources as needed to ensure every project is successfully completed as safely as possible.

Prior to arriving on site we consider all hazards and risks for the day’s tasks. We make sure to bring all PPE and safety materials needed to make the job as safe as possible, and we will comply with any and all safety requirements as requested for the project. Upon arrival to the job site, we meet to discuss any potential hazards, review the work needed as well as look over the site for any new risks. By conducting routine safety inspections and reporting any violations, we keep an open line of communication between the workers on site, and other people and crews working on site or in the surrounding area.

Each and every one of our crew members and project managers receive on-going safety instruction and education. This education covers every area that applies to our trade. From equipment operation to CPR/First Aid and beyond, we are committed to ensuring each one of our crew members are prepared to handle whatever problems that could arise on any given project.
